Network delay at bootup

I've been having a network delay at bootup for awhile now. There is a freeze in loading where I can use the desktop after the first few processes are loaded but internet access and the rest of the startup process tales a couple of minutes to finish. I am not sure if it is something other than the network delaying over half the startup process or it is the network delaying it.

I would think it is easy to check. Stop the network from loading at startup then check how long it takes to load the remaining startup items. If there is no change, then you know it is not solely the network that is causing the delay.
Look at the startup tab and start unchecking/unticking things from loading until you find what is causing the delay.
