Hi, some days ago my network adapter has stopped working and is missing on device manager, but the bluetooth still works, it's the same adapter. The adapter is soldered on the motherboard, and I can't change it, please help me.

Laptop model: Samsung x50 np500r5h-xd3br
Motherboard inscription: Atlas-15HD
Adapter: Qualcomm Atheros QCA-9377

While they may be integrated into the same device, technically they are different adapters. The fact BT works says it is getting power but some other fault has developed.

I suspect you can still see the BT device in Device Manager.

I agree with softwaremaniac. While you can't swap out the surface mount (soldered) device, you can add another wifi adapter and use that instead. Tiny micro wifi dongles are convenient - especially with notebooks and users who travel frequently. But their performance can be affected more easily due to lack of range. So I prefer adapters with external antennas.

Hi!

If possible, I'd test out with an external adapter to see if it works then.

The network device seems to be completely missing from the Device Manager?

I'm using an external usb adapter, and works. Yes, the network device is completely missing.
