Hello all,
I have:
· A 2 year old Lenovo x64 laptop with windows 8.1 that was upgraded to windows 10 this month.
· OS was OEM version but I have had to reinstall it twice in the past with OCR facility that Lenovo provides. Both times it went smoothly. NO problems at all.
· It's a Lenovo G505s model with AMD A10 5750M processor with AMD Radeon HD 8650G video card
When the upgrade to Windows 10 was made available and I was trying to do that, the system went through BSOD a couple of times. I had to struggle with the upgrade for quiet sometime. I have an unanswered thread about the issues I faced here: http://tinyurl.com/qcpmknh
Although these instances were not the first, perhaps only once or twice may I have faced the BSOD before. But after the upgrade to Windows 10 since last 2 weeks + I have seen it like 5-6 times. I have also noticed that the disc usage is constantly about 100% in the initial few minutes yet the write/read speeds never exceed 8-10 mbps ever. I have checked my drivers, all seem to be updated. Both these issues have got me really worried.
I hope I'll get to the core of this problem with your help.
