Z zachary517 New member Joined Mar 20, 2015 Posts 1 Mar 20, 2015 #1 I installed a new hard drive; the old one was 500 gigabyte, the new one is 1 terabyte, on my 64 bit Asus laptop. I used backup and system restore cd's I made from original purchase. The attachment files contain issues that have occurred since installing the new hard drive. Staff member Joined Feb 19, 2012 Posts 21,541 Location New Jersey Shore Mar 21, 2015 #2 If not done, you need to install Widows 7 onto the new HDD. Also, you don't have Windows 7 SP1 installed. W7 SP1 is a must. Learn how to install Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) Regards. . . jcgriff2
