I have used latencymon to find what drivers were the ones responsible to cause high DPC latency and they're the same that are commonly seen in the internet (ndis.sys, tcpip.sys, wdf01000.sys, nvlddmkm.sys). Thing is, i gave up after months of trying to look for an answer and decided to buy new pc components to build a new pc. Guess what? after mounting a new fresh built pc with a fresh installed OS, I decide to run latencymon in hopes i wouldn't get the same results as I had with my previous computer and.... Results are still the same with the same drivers and same high executions...

I don't get it, i spent over 1k$ literally just to get rid of these issues and it still persist.. So my only hope is the windows perfomance analyzer but I have no idea how to use it, maybe someone can guide me with instruction on how to create a proper .cpl so i can post it here and you can check it out whats going wrong?

im really frustrated at this point. I would be eternally grateful. if you want me to post latencymon results as well let me know.

my computer specs:

ASUS Z390-PRIME A
INTEL i5 9500k
EVGA SC GTX 1060
SAMSUNG EVO SSD 500GB
WINDOWS 10 PRO
CORSAIR PSU CS750M
CORSAIR LPX RAM DUAL CHANNEL

What issues is your system having that make you suspect ISR/DPC latency problems? I wouldn't be too worried about what LatencyMon says unless you're experiencing symptoms of high ISR/DPC latency. My first reply in this thread has instructions for how I'd recommend recording a trace. You'll want to make sure you're not running LatencyMon while recording a trace as it actually increases ISR/DPC latency while running.

I understand you're only playing a youtube video in chrome but the graphs don't suggest you were experiencing audio/video glitches which is normally what people notice if they are having ISR/DPC latency problems. Can you clarify what you're experiencing that suggests latency problems?

I get audio popouts for no reason when i play sound or record with my microphone. The only thing i haven't replaced was my gpu but idk if that contribuites to it

There are different ways audio glitches can happen that I'm aware of:

  1. The thread on which the audio is being played doesn't get scheduled to do the work it needs to do in a timely manner which causes gaps in the audio rendering likely producing pops. Usually caused by overly long running DPCs.
  2. The system is unable to feed audio data to the process rendering the audio which you'd hear as pops, crackles, or brief audio loops. Usually caused by network problems, drive I/O problems, or (in the case of video) refresh rate sync issues.

There might be others but those 2 are the most common, I believe.
Was the system experiencing audio glitches while you recorded the trace?
