I am having the same DPC issues that many others are having, up to 500ms DPC's on ndis.sys. I followed the instructions here: Video STUTTERING, Audio CRACKS/POPS and dpc/isr LATENCY (posting instructions)

Attached are the trace and sysnative dump (I ran as administrator but it still said access denied for most items...): Trace+SysnativeFileCollection

My best attempt at answering the following:

  • Write a brief description of your problem.
You can also include the steps you tried.
  • High turnaround time on ndis.sys causes audio and visual stuttering. I have factory reset with a fresh installation of Windows and still the problem is present. I have tried disabling Avast, turning off all power saving options for my network adapter, updating all drivers/BIOS, running TCPOptimizer, scanning for viruses/corrupted files, scanning my RAM and SSD, and a few more things (problem has existed since mid-November).

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. If you need more information to troubleshoot please let me know.

Hi Xilolee, I was able to track the problem back to Avast with some help on another forum, disabling it didn't work but uninstalling fully solved the issue. I guess they had an update in mid-November that doesn't play well with Windows/Realtek.

Thanks for the reply though, I think we can close this thread.
