• Download and run the latest version of SURT.
• Click Yes when prompted to install. Installation can take ~15 minutes. Please do not cancel.
• Upon completion (when Installation Complete appears), copy the contents of the new SURT log found atC:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log and paste in your next reply.

• Right-click the file and click Extract All....
• Place a checkmark next to Show extracted files when complete and click Extract.
• A window will open showing one folder: Manifests.
• Open the Manifests folder and copy the files into the following folder:
  
  C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Winsxs\Manifests
  
  
• Re-run the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) as you did before.

• Note: Ensure this file is named SFCFix.zip. Do not rename the file.
• Close all open windows.

• Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.

SFC /Scannow

• Press the Windows Key
  
  + r on your keyboard at the same time. Type Notepad and click OK.
• Copy the three bold lines below and paste into the Notepad document:

• Click Format. Ensure Wordwrap is unchecked.
• Click File, Save As and name the file sfcscannow.bat.
• Select All Files as the Save as type. Save the file to your Desktop.
• Locate sfcscannow.bat

  Run as administrator.
• Upon completion, a file (CBS.txt) will be created on your Desktop. Attach this file in your next reply.

You used the wrong SFCFix.zip. Please delete any SFCFix.zip files if present on your Desktop.

Then repeat the isntructions from Post #14. Ensure you download and use the SFCFix.zip from this post. Rerun SFC again afterwards.

I'm sorry. I had some older diagnostic files on my desktop and I must have got confused.

Attached are now the new SFC.txt file and the file CBS.txt in a ZIP file.
