[SOLVED] Monthly cumulative updates are failing to install on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1

I have a Windows 2008 R2 SP1 server that is failing to install the Monthly cumulative updates for months now with the error code 80070070.
All other Windows updates are installing fine. I went through all the recommended instructions running the SFC scan, SURT scan and running your tool the SFC fix but the updates will still not install.

Hi!

One of your drives appears to be very limited with free space which causes the issue.

Hi, thanks for your reply but the drive has plenty of free space. it currently has 38.2GB of free space.

Can you temporarily uninstall your antivirus solution and retry. Use the official tool available at your product vendor's website.
