Microsoft: The good, the bad, and the ugly

Microsoft has made many successful products over the years, but unfortunately they’ve also made a lot of mistakes as well. With Windows 8.1 coming out on the horizon, we’ve decided to compile a list of the company's five biggest successes and blunders.

Meh - the successes and failures seem typical of MaximumPC, but I would say Vista wasn't exactly a failure (without it, no Win7) and NT itself wasn't a success (the kernel was, yes, but the product, notsomuch). Oh well, one person's opinion is just that - everyone is entitled to one.
