Hello again, I also have another one that is also failing to update KB5033371 with error 0xe0000100.
I did try running sfc /scannow and dism /online /cleanup-image /RestoreHealth I also tried download the ISO and pulling from that too, but it wasnt able to find the source files even there. I also manually downloaded the file and try installing. Along with the other normal fixes.
Sorry, I am still not able to get sfcfix.exe to work... but I did attached the files requested.

SFCFix and save it to your desktop.

  • Save any work you have open, and close all programs.
  • Download the attachment SFCFix.zip and save it to your desktop.
  • Drag the SFCFix.zip file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.

  • SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
  • Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
  • Post the logfile (SFCFix.txt) as attachment in your next reply.

Step 2. Run the following DISM command and post the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log.
Code:
DISM /online /cleanup-image /RestoreHealth

Perfect, let's hope the update will install without any issues after the last fix...🤞

Sorry I havent put sloved on this thread, the reason is that its still failing, but I am trying to see what else might be causing it to fail the update. I will update this thread a bit later today with added logs. It seems like MS keep releasing bad updates lol

Okay! Perhaps it is common issue, so if you upload the latest CBS logs I can look at them too now!
