Microsoft has updated its Terms of Service again, further clarifying and detailing specifics that you're going to be expected to skim through and accept read thoroughly and accept.

The update went live on August 27th but the changes aren't going into effect until September 27th. In all probability these are going to be the legalese documents you'll skip if you make a new Microsoft account when you pick up Windows 8, which releases in October.

The new Terms of Service, naturally, have some changes and additions compared to the older versions. This should make it easier to digest the information, reflowing it to make it more user-friendly. A primary example comes in one of the opening paragraphs:

For your convenience, we have phrased some of the terms of this agreement in a question and answer format.

The ultimate goal is to make Microsoft services safer and more secure by providing these guidelines for you to follow / unknowingly breach because you never read them. Like most forms of TOS, you must accept them to use any of the products. If you disagree you'd better not use the service.
