Microsoft usually releases new software updates for various products on the second Tuesday of each month, and August will be no exception. Today, Microsoft gave an advance alert that it will issue nine software patches for various products on Tuesday, August 14th.
In the company's security bulletin, Microsoft gives the basics for each update, which will affect Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Exchange, Microsoft Server, Internet Explorer, SQL Server and more. Of the nine software updates, five have been labeled as "critical" by Microsoft.
