This is the second time that Microsoft has shown off a live demo of the platform and another interesting note is that the Office 2013 seems all but official as the branding can clearly be seen above. Pretty minimal for the main view, and goodbye to seeing 30 options all at once near the top like in the Ribbon style for Office 2007 and 2010. I don't mind it, but I really don't like having to transition to a new style all the time. I had enough trouble's adjusting from the old old Office to the Ribbon style that first came out in Office 2007, and now that i've finally become comfortable with everything they transition once more (even though it's almost forced upon them to change things around now that MetroUI is out in the trend).
