[SOLVED] Microsoft Safety Scanner and Windows Defender Logs

I see, I’ll do that for now then.
I was a bit startled because I thought KpRm broke something after I ran it and restarted.
Last month, it stopped my settings page from loading after a restart, so I was forced to restart again in order to get it back to normal.
I suppose I should avoid running it again until it’s maybe updated or something?

KpRm is used to delete tools and logs used by experts to clean/check a system. It's not a tool for an ordinary user to run it every now and then. So, unless you are getting assistance in a forum and an expert asks you to run it, do not run it by yourself.

Your system is fine now, so there is nothing else to be said here.

I forgot to ask yesterday, but when you get rid of FRST by renaming it to uninstall.exe, does that delete the FRST folder in the C: drive?
Can the folder be deleted without causing any issues or should it be left alone?

Yes, no it won't cause any issues.

Thank you for the response!
After renaming it to Uninstall.exe and double clicking it, it got rid of the .exe and the FRST folder in the C: drive, so I didnt have to delete anything else.

I also just noticed for the first time that whenever you open other folders and navigate in windows explorer, it’ll display text saying “we’re working on it” while the folder loads.
I imagine it’s always done that, and the reason I never saw it until now is because I”m using and SSD, so everything loads really fast.

I still have some questions, if that’s okay.

I was watching videos about security and heard that anti-virus scanners won’t scan files that are too large?
is this true?
it got me thinking because I’ve got a few old PDF’s on my D drive from years ago. They’re mostly just school projects and other personal documents.

I was also viewing another thread and I was wondering if logs can tell you if a copy of windows is illegal or not?
I bought one of those windows USB’s with the activation key that Microsoft would sell back when I set up my PC initially. Then in November of last year is when I started getting paranoid over a lot of stuff so I reset Windows through that option in settings which allows you to reset via the cloud and keep or erase files (I chose to erase everything).

Ideally I’d like to use my PC normally tomorrow, but who knows.

Badram, I thought that we already got over that. The computer is just fine and there is no reason for posting logs again. We checked the computer and everything is fine.

I’m really sorry, I’ve just been feeling sick and on edge today, so I’m trying to calm down.
