Responding to customer concerns over NSA spying, Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) will be allowing non-U.S. customers to store their data in the company’s cloud data centers in other countries.
On the one hand, offering a choice of several country locations may ease some clients’ concerns.
On The Other Hand, this shouldn’t be seen as an alternative to good cloud security practice.
