Microsoft is making available a new free importer tool designed to bring users' Evernote notes into OneNote.
The OneNote Importer tool, available today, March 11, is
available for download from Microsoft's site. The first version of the tool is Windows only, but the same importer will be available for Mac "in the coming months," officials said.
To use the new converter tool, users need Windows 7 or later. Once a user imports her/his Evernote notes, they will sync across all devices, including Mac, iOS and Android. Evernote for Windows doesn't have to be installed in order to use the tool, but if it is, migration will happen more quickly.
More details as to
how to use OneNote Importer are available on Microsoft's support page.
