MCShield, by Dr Bora, is a useful tool we use when we want to protect a computer from viruses/malware/hack techniques via a USB drive. A resident drive detector and scanner, doing a really good job in addressing ways to be infected from a USB.
According to @Picasso in another Security Forum (GTG), a couple of years ago:
Recently I noticed that the tool's URL no longer exists. Although its creators updated it back in 2019, to be compatible with Windows 10 specific updates, it seems that it reached its end of life. At least, this is my impression.
I have MCShield installed in all my computers and it is running good. But I can't recommend it to others anymore.
Any ideas for a tool that is really good like MCShield?

Panda USB Vaccine (dated 2010) is older than MCShield (dated 2014) and covers only the autorun.inf infection technique. MCShield is more complex and addresses other ways to be infected from USB too (eg. LNK method). I'm not aware of any equivalent containing all functions... Other tools are rather oriented only for autorun.inf: Anti-AutoExec, USB Pratirodh, USB-set. Bitdefender USB Immunizer is very old (2012).
