I have had MagicJack for a number of years. After a power outage I lost incoming conversations. I reset the MagicJack and can now get incoming conversations.
BUT, when someone calls me the connection is loaded with static or broken up. If I call out the connection is good.

The limited help from MagicJack says to be sure it is using ports 5060,5061.
I have TP-Link AC1750 and have been trying in Windows 7 Professional 64bit to locate what ports are used. I have accessed the router internals and can't locate
port assignments so I can locate who uses what.

Thanks for all help,
I have an AT&T and Cap-Tel phone. Conversations worked pretty well before the power outage.

1) Shutdown everything (pc, router, telephone, AC1750 Wi-Fi Range Extender)
2) Unplug every cables, then re-plug them
3) Turn on everything

If this won't work, please add more information (about your at&t line, your MagicJack plan/device, your CapTel model, your router manufacturer and model, your AC1750 Wi-Fi Range Extender version - there are four versions of it).

I just received a call on the Cap-tel and it was decent. Where/How do I find the AC1750 Wi-Fi Extender Version?

Under the device itself, in its manual, in its box...
By the way, if the problem disappeared by itself, it's not necessary.

I just received another call and it was not a clear transmission.
I can't find the information. I will try and look under the router, which is not easy in the cluttered spot.
Can I find it in 192.168.0.1?
I just looked underneath the router and found nothing except AC1750 C7.

So far the only thing I can find are 2 disks for setup. 1 for my computer and 1 for my wife. She has the Wi-Fi connection.
I am still looking through every where I can think of. I don't want to put one of the disks in my computer in case it takes
immediate action which might mess me up further.
What exactly is the
AC1750 Wi-Fi Extender?
We live in an apartment 2 bedrooms and a middle living room with the router and phones in it. There is really no need for an extender.

You wrote: "I have TP-Link AC1750".
I searched it and it seems it's a wi-fi range extender.
I.e., you probably get the wi-fi signal from a distant source and the TP-Link AC1750 wi-fi range extender (put in a intermediate position) repeats/extends the signal to your devices.

My Wi-Fi comes from the router. I am still trying to locate the ports on it and who is using this.

Archer C7 | AC1750 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router | TP-Link
This is the C7.

I also noticed there is a firmware update for the router released on 11/11/2020
Download for Archer C7 | TP-Link

it says you can obtain the update from within the router Admin page OTA (over the air).

Can I find it in 192.168.0.1?
This is how you logon to the admin page of the router.

My router is V2 and the update is 5/2018. I am not going to mess with a firmware update because the router worked and is working
to the best of my analysis. I am still trying to look at the ports.

Not completely. I will do a reset on the router & modem by pulling power for 30 seconds when I get the chance.
The Cap-Tel has been reset twice because of power interruptions. I did reset the MagicJack.

I found this interesting:

Navigate to your routers web interface.
The default username is admin and the default password is admin. (If you have not changed it)
On the left, click on Advanced Setup and then click on NAT and then click on ALG.
Uncheck the box by SIP Enabled. (Some TP firmware shows this as SIP Transformations which is the same thing).
Click Save/Apply.

SOURCE

I'm not trying to override Xilolee's suggestions and I want you to finish with those first as to not cause confusion. I'm just adding ideas I come across. :)

I logged into 192.168.0.1 and on the Left list is NAT. Opening that does NOT have anything for ALG or SIP.
I unplugged the router and waited 30 seconds and will wait for a call.
Isn't there a way to check to see if there is anyone using my network illegally. My wife uses wideband to the router and I am
wired.
I am still trying to find how MagicJack is ported in the router.
Have a nice Thanksgiving.

I did find ALG under security. I also sent an e-mail to Tp_Link support
Under Security ALG the following are enabled FTP,TFTP,H323,RTSP and SIP

Nice Tool. I don't understand why the options under FILE aren't available. Only START(F5) and Exit are active.
I went ahead and disabled SIP/ALG. Haven't had a call to see if that cleaned up the connection garbage.
