  • Write a brief description of your problem.
    • When i set my mouse polling rate to 1000hz and move the mouse in game my fps drops from 165(capped could go higher) to 20-30. The game does support 1000hz. This happens even on menu screens.
    • Also when i set my polling rate back down to 250 or 125 than i still get stutters and micro stutters even while not moving the mouse. The hardware should easily do 165 fps with no stutters. (some days it doesn't happen other days its a mild problem and other days its absolutely unplayable.
    • I don't know if the two issues are related. I've uploaded trace files for both issues.

Was not able to run the bluescreen tool as my document folder is moved to second drive and there is not enough room to temporarily move it back.

Thanks in advanced for any help I may receive.

I should also add when i get a major stutter than incoming discord messages dont show up. The circle saying that they are talking doesn't even light up. If i leave and join it comes back. Sometimes its the reverse where my outgoing audio doesn't get registered with discord and my circle doesn't light up green. Also older versions of windows like 1802 seem to have less severe stutters and a higher avg fps. I checked with latency mon and when i set my polling rate too 1000hz than when i move the dpc and isr time rarely but sometimes shoots up sometimes even into the 10s of thousands.

Just had a major stutter and the dxgkrnl.sys had an dpc time of 33913.923489. Normally when i have a stutter its the hdaudbus.sys one causing it i think. The driver that causes this is different too the one for the mouse issues. the mouse issues is usually usbport.sys or xhciusb.sys.
