Lost between Win7 and Win10

Hi,

I try to upgrade a laptop from Windows 7 to Windows 10 with the official Windows Media Creation Tool, everything seems OK and then the computer reboot and start the installation of Windows 10.

But after some hours I go back to the laptop and he was block on the Windows 10 start.. I let him go and after 1h the computer go OFF.. I power on but I got this message:
undoing changes made to your computer
The computer restart several time but in this loop, he cant repair Windows 10 installation but he cant go back to Windows 7

I tried to boot from USB and repair Windows 10 but he doesnt work..

Somebody can help me to go back in Windows 7 or forced go to Windows 10? I got a lot of programs installed..

Actually I clone the HDD to another and I can try some tips if you have :)

Hi!

Please do the following:

Step#1 - FRST Scan

1. Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.
Note: You need to run the 64-bit Version so please ensure you download that one.
2. Right-click FRST64.exe and click Run as Administrator to run it as administrator. When the tool opens, click Yes to disclaimer.
3. Please ensure you place a check mark in the Addition.txt check box at the bottom of the form before running (if not already checked).
4. Press Scan button.
5. It will produce a log called FRST.txt in the same directory the tool is run from (which should now be the desktop)
6. Please attach the log back here.
7. Another log (Addition.txt - also located in the same directory as FRST64.exe) will be generated Please also attach that along with the FRST.txt in your reply.

I launch FRST in recovery mode because I cant access any Win7 Win10 or safe mode
I don't have addition.txt

Tell me if you need something else, thanks !

Hi!

Please run this fix from recovery mode. Press Fix instead of Scan in FRST.

I Fix and he say successfull, but after boot the computer try the same things: undoing changes made to your computer.

And then he reboot and I got this picture (attach) and he don't move during some hours ..

Please find the result in attach. Seems OK no? I made a clone to another disk with acronis and dont have warning, I think the disk is OK.

All good. Since you can't even boot, I'd recommend a clean install of Windows 10.

Its not possible to go back Windows 7 or force upgrade to Window 10?
Because there is a lot of programs on this computer..

There is a Windows.old folder ? Not possible to use it ?

Nope, since your machine is not bootable, there is not much we can do at this point.
