Hi,
since i have this laptop, im struggling some weird mouse delay, cracking and popping sounds (these sounds are good now since i have updated ahci and sound driver). Latency mon shows that every mouse movement, the ISR and overall latency of WDF01000.sys is increasing. And acpi.sys latency is jumping every few seconds.
I tried changing drivers (from manufacturer, basic windows update drivers, from external programs like driverbooster) - still same.
Clean boot also shows same problem.
Power plane is set to high performance.
I did read every possible thread on multiple forums to search for the solution- nothing worked. (changing sata mode from ahci to intel rst, changing slow slew rate, turning off power management options in bios).

CONCLUSION
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Your system appears to be having trouble handling real-time audio and other tasks. You are likely to experience buffer underruns appearing as drop outs, clicks or pops. One or more DPC routines that belong to a driver running in your system appear to be executing for too long. One problem may be related to power management, disable CPU throttling settings in Control Panel and BIOS setup. Check for BIOS updates.
LatencyMon has been analyzing your system for 0:01:10 (h:mm:ss) on processors 0,1,2 and 3.

Computer name: DESKTOP-LJ41MRP
OS version: Windows 10 , 10.0, build: 18363 (x64)
Hardware: 81FV, LENOVO, LNVNB161216
CPU: GenuineIntel Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8300H CPU @ 2.30GHz
Logical processors: 8
Processor groups: 1
RAM: 16256 MB total

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
CPU SPEED
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Reported CPU speed: 2304 MHz

Note: reported execution times may be calculated based on a fixed reported CPU speed. Disable variable speed settings like Intel Speed Step and AMD Cool N Quiet in the BIOS setup for more accurate results.

WARNING: the CPU speed that was measured is only a fraction of the CPU speed reported. Your CPUs may be throttled back due to variable speed settings and thermal issues. It is suggested that you run a utility which reports your actual CPU frequency and temperature.

MEASURED INTERRUPT TO USER PROCESS LATENCIES
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The interrupt to process latency reflects the measured interval that a usermode process needed to respond to a hardware request from the moment the interrupt service routine started execution. This includes the scheduling and execution of a DPC routine, the signaling of an event and the waking up of a usermode thread from an idle wait state in response to that event.

Highest measured interrupt to process latency (µs): 3428,90
Average measured interrupt to process latency (µs): 3,752632

Highest measured interrupt to DPC latency (µs): 3390,90
Average measured interrupt to DPC latency (µs): 1,246940

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
REPORTED ISRs
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Interrupt service routines are routines installed by the OS and device drivers that execute in response to a hardware interrupt signal.

Highest ISR routine execution time (µs): 312,106771
Driver with highest ISR routine execution time: Wdf01000.sys - Aparat wykonawczy struktury sterowników trybu jądra, Microsoft Corporation

Highest reported total ISR routine time (%): 0,006241
Driver with highest ISR total time: Wdf01000.sys - Aparat wykonawczy struktury sterowników trybu jądra, Microsoft Corporation

Total time spent in ISRs (%) 0,008224

ISR count (execution time <250 µs): 27800
ISR count (execution time 250-500 µs): 0
ISR count (execution time 500-999 µs): 1

ISR count (execution time 2000-3999 µs): 0
ISR count (execution time >=4000 µs): 0

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
REPORTED DPCs
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
DPC routines are part of the interrupt servicing dispatch mechanism and disable the possibility for a process to utilize the CPU while it is interrupted until the DPC has finished execution.

Highest DPC routine execution time (µs): 3607,871528
Driver with highest DPC routine execution time: ACPI.sys - Sterownik ACPI dla systemu NT, Microsoft Corporation

Highest reported total DPC routine time (%): 0,108501
Driver with highest DPC total execution time: Wdf01000.sys - Aparat wykonawczy struktury sterowników trybu jądra, Microsoft Corporation

Total time spent in DPCs (%) 0,248296

DPC count (execution time <250 µs): 178045
DPC count (execution time 250-500 µs): 0
DPC count (execution time 500-999 µs): 125
DPC count (execution time 1000-1999 µs): 1
DPC count (execution time 2000-3999 µs): 3
DPC count (execution time >=4000 µs): 0

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
REPORTED HARD PAGEFAULTS
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Hard pagefaults are events that get triggered by making use of virtual memory that is not resident in RAM but backed by a memory mapped file on disk. The process of resolving the hard pagefault requires reading in the memory from disk while the process is interrupted and blocked from execution.

NOTE: some processes were hit by hard pagefaults. If these were programs producing audio, they are likely to interrupt the audio stream resulting in dropouts, clicks and pops. Check the Processes tab to see which programs were hit.

Process with highest pagefault count: chrome.exe

Total number of hard pagefaults 98
Hard pagefault count of hardest hit process: 54
Number of processes hit: 5

Hi, My name is Rob. Welcome to Sysnative!

Open an elevated command prompt: Hit start type cmd CTRL + Shift + ENTER, an elevated prompt should open.

In this prompt, type verifier, choose Delete Existing Settings and Finish. Reboot and see if your problems go away.

Let us know.

Yes, still the same.
Forgot to add: latency over ACPI.sys is getting worse while using FN + function (FN+ volume/touchpad etc.)

Thanks! Standby for others with more experience with latencymon.

I see you have both Nvidia and Intel graphics. Make sure the Intel onboard is disabled. You'll probably have to this from the BIOS.

I would really like to disable intel graphics but its connected to the screen, so from my knowledge it's impossible to switch screen physically to nvidia (or i am just wrong).

Thank you very much Rob! You just helped me to solve a problem which has been messing my pc and activities during this whole week.
All the best.

You can actually go into the device manager and right click the intel video driver and disable. If its the one your using all that will happen is the system will revert to the generic driver and you can simply right click the driver in device manager and enable.

Even after disabling intel graphics in device manager, latency mon shows the same latency spikes on ACPI.sys and wdf01000.sys.
I tried disabling all possible settings in bios (audio, wlan, c states, intel ME etc.), problem still persists.

I've seen those topics, nothing of this worked.

Try to update the SSD firmware using the Western Digital SSD Dashboard (if you didn't already do it): WD Software
Already tried that, it's up to date :/

Thank you for trying to help me .

Those 2 topics cover dang near everything one could think of shy of obtaining a new computer. :-)

One of those suggestions of getting rid of all the Lenovo (may be called IBM) bloatware and its corresponding services, also disable Adobe services as well.

Hit Start, type services, upper left corner Services will pop out, right click and run as Administrator.

Anything that says Lenovo can be disabled, you will lose functionality of Lenovo apps but you won't lose functionality of your computer.

This happens even on fresh windows install, without any bloatware/drivers etc.
There is nothing from Lenovo, just intel services.

Funny fact: if i use (hold) FN+ touchpad in game, i can see fps drops and little stuttering... So i can only imagine how hard are these latency problems affect my mouse movement/performance.
