To launch a program pinned to the taskbar from your keyboard, press the Windows Key + the number that the taskbar shortcut is assigned to. The taskbar shortcuts are assigned a number from left to right. On my taskbar, I have Edge, the Windows store icon, file explorer, command prompt, etc. from left to right.
