Hello all, first post and i hope i am in the right spot!
I am having issues with latency. originally i thought it was hardware but i''ve tried everything, ground loop isolators, different wall points etc. whilst gaming, or listening to music, the audio crackles and sometimes lags for a second. i dont have wifi at all on my computer. i'm hoping what i have attached can give some insight to my problem, any other information required, please don't hesitate to ask.

1 thing worth noting, when i install my Sound Blaster Audigy FX sound card, and disable both Nvidia high def drivers and realtek drivers, it is actually a lot worse, audio is terrible and cannot hear words in songs, etc. I purchased the sound card to get away from possible onboard issues, no fix. Might add the system is literally about 3 weeks old. just built

I have also gone into IRQ and notice HD audio and my nvidia driver were on the same interupt line. after disabling 1 of 2 hd audio drivers (1x that was on same line as nvidia driver, it made a huge difference. but as soon as i enter a game, it spikes ridiculously. (see images above in drive, 2x show before game and 2x after game)

i feel as if im going around in circles and any help will be appreciated

Hello,

Over the past summer, I built my own PC from scratch as well, and I used a similar motherboard. I put the Asus Z170-A in my computer. From day one, I had audio problems. High latency, high pagefaults, crackling, etc. I tried everything to try to correct it. I updated all drivers, used older drivers, didn't install some NVIDIA drivers, installed an internal sound card, and even tried reverting back to Windows 7. Nothing worked for me. The only time I was able to listen to anything from my computer with audio problems was through an HDMI cable from my TV to the graphics card. Eventually, I was having separate USB problems as well, so I then decided to try using a different motherboard in my computer. All audio and USB problems were gone. So, if you or a friend have a spare motherboard you can swap in, I suggest trying it. Unfortunately, it is a hassle and was the only thing that worked for me. Here is my thread if you want to see some of the fixes suggested to me if you'd like to try those first.
