I recently read the Video STUTTERING, Audio CRACKS/POPS and dpc/isr LATENCY (posting instructions) thread. I did the steps and here are my results.

Description of Problem

Every few minutes (when using my audio interface) the audio will either glitch or drop out altogether. The only way to resolve it is to change my audio interface's buffer size or sample rate. I have tried many different solutions but none of them has worked.
Some of these solutions include:
  • A "factory" reset of my laptop.
  • Updating and reinstalling drivers
  • Using this article, this article and this article
  • Contacting Microsoft's, Focusrite's and Dell's Support
  • Using LatencyMon to find the problem causes
When I used LatencyMon, most of the "problem" drivers were related to the graphics card.
