Hi,
I recently bought a new computer, which seems to have problems with audio pops when I try to do various things on the computer like open sound settings. I took it back to the store the next day but could not reproduce the problem in the store, so they said to give it a week and come back if I still had problems.
Of course, if I do still have problems, they will probably only replace the PC, or if they do not, I will not see it again for weeks. From Googling about it, the problem seems to me to be software- rather than hardware-related, so I want to try to solve it myself first.
I've tried:
Replacing the NVIDIA High Definition Audio driver with just the High Definition Audio driver, but I still get the popping.
I checked that the CPU is not being throttled.
I made sure that Windows 10 had all the right updates.
Many, many other random changes seen in different forum threads that also did not make a difference.
I've attached a latency report from Latency mon below.
My specs are here: http://speccy.piriform.com/results/YlMCoFzzWZC54LubfSw88xn
Thanks in advance!
