Laptop crashes every time I try to use built-in webcamera

Hello,

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad Edge laptop for a second computer. It came with Windows 7 but has since been upgraded to Windows 10. I don't know if this issue occurred the upgrade, but any time I try to use the camera, whether its directly through the Camera app or through a website, the laptop gives me the Windows 10 version of the blue screen of death. I am almost positive that in the past the camera worked just fine. Can anyone please assist?
