Hello, I just found a thread where you helped some1 with the error above. Here is the link:

[SOLVED] - Appcrash kernelbase.dll

I am very desperate. I want to play Red Dead Redemption 2, but it won't start. I already have played 100 hours on my machine without major issues. Since 2 weeks, the game simply wont start. I tried every possible solution mentioned by rockstar and found online, but I always keep getting the same error. The windows event log says that the app crashed due to a faulty module Kernelbase.dll.

I already tried:

- reinstalling RDR2, reinstalling rockstar launcher, reinstalling Windows
- scans within windows, via cmd and with tools
- updating all drivers, (GPU, DirectX, Vcred, Vulkan)
- deleting old driver files
- everything mentioned online by rockstar, by users and by people with kernelbase.dll crashes, until I found this thread here where some1 got it fixed

One thing I want to mention, too: When i deactivate my GPU (so running onboard graphics), the game starts but its unplayable and its hard to navigate in the menus due to picture glitches.

I am very desperate.

Thank you in advance and kind regards
Robert
