Hello there!

I hope I can get some help here, I am really pulling my hair out. I seem to have the exact same problem as the OP in this thread:
[SOLVED] - Win11 Updates Failing, Error - 0x800705b9

The Update KB5036893 keeps failing with error 0x800705b9.

My List of things I have done is close to the OP in the other thread, so sorry for copy pasting the majority of them. So far ...

1. I tried downloading the newest update manually through the Microsoft Update Catalog, but I still get an "Installation Failed" error message.
2. I've tried to do a repair install using the Windows 11 .iso file but the installer consistently closes out and sends me back to the desktop when it reaches 59%. It also gives me a "Windows 11 Installation Failed" error message.
3. I ran the Windows Update Troubleshooter. It claims that it fixed something but the problem still persists.
4. I tried running sfc. It initially said that it fixed something, but as of now it's telling me that it didn't find any integrity violations. Still didn't fix the problem.
5. I tried running DISM but I get hit with the following error message: Error: 193
6. I tried Windows Installation Assistant, which insisted that I am already at the latest version.

I have attached my Component Scanner results and my CBS log.

I would have used the resolutions shown in the other thread, but since the fixes were customized, I made this new thread, soo..
Thanks a bunch in advance!

Still not working, though now getting a different error (I did change anything/fiddle around) - 0x800f0831

Tried installing a newer update (KB5036980) in hopes that this would somehow go through - sadly hangs at 25% and then reverts back to error 0x800705b9.

Hi,
thanks again. DISM missbehaved again - got stuck at 62.3% forever, when I hit enter it jumped to 100% and quit with the same error message as yesterday.

I was able to update! After installing the Preview update though, it installed, then rebooted, and then said something didnt go as planned, rolling back changes. It restarted again and repeated those steps 2 more times, until it finally booted into Windows - so I think everything si fine now?

Either way, thank you so much!! 🙏🙏🙏
