Hello. I need you help. Another problem with my troubled Windows server 2012R2. Earlier, you helped a lot with the installation of a cumulative update, and everything seemed to work and update for several months. But yesterday, a new cumulative update knocked out a bug that baffled me (KB5026415 failing on install on Server 2012 R2 with error 0x800F0831).
Looking in the logs I found the following:
I tried to download directly from the microsoft update catalog KB5026415 and install but it gave the same error. I tried to download the update KB5023765 (it is referenced by cbs.log with a manifest error) and install it on the system, but I was given that it is not applicable to my system.
Performed checks with commands sfc /scannow (found no corruption), DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth (found corruption and fixed it). After there was a reboot and an attempt to install updates again and the error did not go away.
