Hi there folks,

from the regular Windows Update process there is one update KB5013942 left, which is failing always with the same error 0x800f0922, after succesfull download via Windos Update, install, reboot and processing changes until 98%. When reaching the 98% it claims that changes can't be processed and reverts all the stuff. When logging into Windows and running Update again, the loop begins from the start. I also tried to install the update manually from the Microsoft Update Catalog but same behaviour and error.

Windows Support KB5013942
Microsoft Update Catalog

I ran sfc /scannow and Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth, but with no effect.

I appriciate your help.

FRST Fix
NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system
1. Download the attached fixlist.txt and save it to the Desktop.
Note. It's important that both files, FRST64 and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work (in this case...the desktop).
2. Run FRST64 by Right-Clicking on the file and choosing Run as administrator.
3. Press the Fix button just once and wait. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
4. When finished FRST64 will generate a log on the Desktop (Fixlog.txt). Please post the contents of it in your reply.

Afterwards, please attempt to update again and if it fails then please provide the CBS log.

Thanks, could you please remove Avast! using Revo Uninstaller:

It isn't uncommon for third-party antivirus software to interfere with the update process.

Uninstalled Avast but nothing changed. I tried deactivating the software earlier and nothing changed.

Could you please provide the latest setup logs like before and the CBS log?
