KB4530734 error code 80073712 in order to Win10 upgrade

Hey,
wow I'm surprised, this sub forum is full of this issue from within the recent days/ weeks/ months.
So now I'm concerned as well.

I wanted to upgrade (no new install because of things) an "old" Dell Vostro 3560 from Win 7 Pro to 10, but got the "SAFE_OS phase error during Replicate_OC operation" error, that was obviously caused by dangling Windows 7 updates.

These updates, turns out especially KB4530734 weren't able to be installed by any trick I tried yet - search engines are giving some hints, e.g. https://support.microsoft.com/de-de/help/10164/fix-windows-update-errors

Now I'm at my wits' end and could need some help from you guys. Thank you therefor in advance!

Please find attached the SFCFix log file, it wasn't able to repair all (any?) broken files - please see also CBS.zip.

GSmartControl
Follow the instructions below to check your SMART status with GSmartControl:


  • Download the portable version of GSmartControl and save it on your Desktop;
  • Extract the zip file to your Desktop. Open the folder gsmartcontrol-1.1.3-win64 which should be located on your Desktop and double-click gsmartcontrol.exe to launch the program.
  • Identify your drive in the list (if recognized by the tool), and hover your mouse over it.
  • You should see something called: SMART status. It will either read: Enabled, in which case you should do the following:
  • Double-click on it to bring up its window (usually you'll find your drive by its size or its brand name);
  • Go to the Self-Tests tab, then select Extended Self-test in the Test type drop-down list and click on Execute (this test can take a few hours to complete);
  • Once the test is over, the results will be displayed at the bottom of the window. Please copy and paste these results in your next reply or take a screenshot;
  • Also, go in the Attributes tab and if you have any entries highlighted in red or pink, take a screenshot of the GSmartControl window and attach it in your next reply;
  • Please note: If the SMART Status reads: Unsupported, stop and let me know.

Unfortunately, your drive has been damaged and needs to be replaced.

Please copy over all of the important files and replace the drive.

Once replaced, perform a clean install. Do not clone this installation as it is corrupt.
 
Ok, I let the values get double checked in a SSD Forum and this was the reply:
(translated from german) said:
22 NAND blocks have failed, this can happen, especially if there are unexpected voltage drops (which happened 25 times here) while is being written or deleted. But there are still 61 reserve blocks and it is different with SSD than with HDDs, because with HDDs there is usually damage that then leads to further defective sectors and often soon to complete failures. With SSDs it is different, the cause of the failure of a block does not have to lead to the failure of other blocks.
 
This may be true and evident from the fact that the system still boots, but I personally do not feel good fixing something knowing that the hardware powering it has started to fail and can worsen at any moment.
