Windows Update KB4530734 is failing to install (error 8024200D) I have Win 7 (x64 build sp1 7601) the standalone installer throwed up error 80070002 Please Help

I should also mention that this was a virtual machine (vmware workstation) for anyone else who reads this

That does not make a difference in this case.

The error code simply means that a file from an update was missing because the update has been improperly installed previously or the install was interrupted somehow.
