Hi,

Our Windows Server 2016 Essentials has a issue with the the monthly cumulative update for some time now.

The installation of the update works fine, however after a few reboots, on 73% it rolls back.

I have already done:

- Install the update trough Windows Update
- Downloaded the full update on the MS website
- sfc /scannow (No issues found)
- Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth (Completes without warning or errors)

Still, the updates rolls back at 73%

Windows is a guest server on KVM/QUEM HOST

dedicated resources to the VM - RAM, CPU cores HDD space...

I don't have, only Windows Defender.

Host - Dell PowerEdge t130, e3-12220v6 (4Core), 16GB ram, 2x1TB Raid mirroring, Ubuntu Server 16.04 LTS KVM/QUEM

Windows Guest - Processor(2Core), 8GB, disc0 - 200GB (system), disc1 - 700gb (data), disc2 - ISCASI QNAP (backup)

Step#1 - FRST Scan

1. Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.
Note: You need to run the 64-bit Version so please ensure you download that one.
2. Right click to run as administrator. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
3. Please ensure you place a check mark in the Addition.txt check box at the bottom of the form before running (if not already).
4. Press Scan button.
5. It will produce a log called FRST.txt in the same directory the tool is run from (which should now be the desktop)
6. Please attach the log back here.
7. Another log (Addition.txt - also located in the same directory as FRST64.exe) will be generated Please also attach that along with the FRST.txt in your reply.
