I copied the text below from a similar post because my problem is exactly the same. And so is the use case.

my problem is the failure of installation of this package which contains the Windows Management Framework 5.1, which is needed in order to have an upgraded Powershell from version 2 to at least 5.
if I get the Powershell updated to version 5 or 7, I will be able to continue installing a Mobile Web Desktop framework "Flutter" with "Dart" programming language.
I also have other issues like : the "turn windows features on or off" is a blank list. I tried to fix with checking in Services a windows Module Installer service, stopping and running it again but still nothing shows.
I have seen a similar solved thread [KB3191566] but figured that the fixes are customized.
I have run the demanded scans shown on this website. I have installed a demanded package that one that lasts several hours to complete, watched a Lupin the third movie and came back waited sometime more and finished.
I thought it will enable the 'RestoreHealth' command under dism/ online/ cleanup-image. But didn't. I mean I wonder if I have done everything correctly.
All hopes for a Solution :ยด)

Can anyone help me? How do I generate the SFCFix.zip file?

I've attached my CBS log file. It's huge.

Hi @PeterJ thanks a lot for the help. I'm really grateful.

Unfortunately it failed again. I did what you said. There is no CheckSUR.log file. I'm attaching the cbs.log file below.

FRST Registry Search
  1. Click the Start button and choose Control Panel.
  2. In the upper right corner ensure the View by: is set to Category.
  3. Select the Programs group.
  4. Click the Turn Windows features on or off link. This will bring up the Windows Features dialog.
Note: This loads your components hive which is what we want. Please keep this dialog open while you perform the remaining steps. You can minimize it if you wish but keep it open.
  5. Download the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop:
64-bit: Downloading Farbar Recovery Scan Tool
Note: Your antivirus program may report FRST incorrectly as an infection. If so, disable the real-time protection when downloading and running FRST.
  6. Right-click on the file FRST64.exe and choose Run as administrator.
  7. Copy and paste KB4493132 into the Search box and click the Search Registry button.
  8. When the scan is complete, a message will display that 'SearchReg.txt' is saved in the same folder FRST was started from. Notepad will open this file also. Close Notepad and attach the file 'SearchReg.txt' to your next reply.
  9. You may close any remaining open windows now.

Hey @PeterJ I shut down my computer. After trying to start it's not booting anymore. It gives a blue screen (Image attached below). The CBS.log is empty. I tried running chkdsk via the install USB disk and also tried start up repair but can't get it to boot. Any idea how to fix this?

(I didn't get a chance to try the previous step. The Farbar Recovery Scan Tool)

I stupidly got a little hasty and reinstalled Windows 7 again. I now managed to install this update I posted here.

It turns out I had mistakenly booted into Windows 11 installed on my NVMe SSD (formatted as a GPT Disk) after long. Windows 7 is installed on my SATA SSD (formatted as an MBR) disk. Now every time I boot into Windows 11 and try switching back to Windows 7 I get a BSOD. I had to reinstall Windows 7 2-3 times and now I decided not to boot into Windows 11 until I find a fix.

I will post this issue on that forum section you mentioned.

I can't thank you enough for all the help and time you've given me. Why do you guys do this for free (I mean it takes up a lot of your time)?

Okay. Hopefully the BSOD issue can be solved in the other forum.

Just helping others in our spare free time. You may have a look at this article: ABOUT: Sysnative

Can we mark this thread as solved or should we wait for the result in the other forum ?

Hey @PeterJ , it's amazing what you guys do. Thanks so much.

You can mark this as solved. I kind of have my whole system destroyed now. Got infected with ransomware๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

That is really bad news. Did you download/install something or what can be the cause of this ?

Yes. I had turned off Microsoft Security Essentials for a short while trying to temporarily download a Windows 7 activator which I shouldn't have done๐Ÿ˜Ÿ Turned out that contained the ransomware. I even tried contacting the ransomware attacker to recover my files. Their charge is 350$ for the decryption tool and they are ruthless so I let go of my files. Including important projects.

I now activated both Windows 11 and Windows 7 with legit keys. Did a full scan and got rid of the ransomware files.

All said and done. I learnt my lesson or rather lessons.

Okay. Thanks for your info regarding the ransomware.
I will mark this thread as solved.

Take care.
