Hi, I've been trying to resolve this for a while now. When I try to run the KB3126587 update using the stand alone updater, the progress bar appears to complete the update then sticks at 100%. The only way forward is to forcibly close the updater (pressing the cancel button does not appear to work). I read on this forum elsewhere that uninstalling KB3101246 can resolve this. Unfortunately, as with the previous forum question it appears that this update is not installed. There was another solution posted but I couldn't try this as the link was broken. It would appear that the lack of the KB3126587 update (or the root problem) is causing other updates to fail so I am quite keen to get this resolved. Does anyone have any ideas here?

Followed the instructions, ran step 2 and reported no errors. Moved on to step 3, downloaded System Update Readiness Tool for Server 2008R2 x64 edition (KB947821). Windows stand alone installer runs but after a couple of moments up pops a screen stating that 'some updates were not installed' (KB947821). That's as far as I can get! I've attached the CBS log file as requested.
