[SOLVED] Jump List Not Working properly

I am running Windows 8.1 Pro WMC (with update 1)

All of a sudden the Jumplist stoped working.

Here are the images:

I checked Taskbar and Navigation properties both the options were checked.

I ran CCleaner.Nothing happened. The problem was there before i ran the update.

This irritates me a lot. I hope this is an easy fix Please help me i have no idea :noidea:.
 
Hi,

If you're running CCleaner, it's likely clearing your jump lists. If that's the case, disable the setting in CCleaner that marks recent places as something to be cleaned.

Thank you patrick for the reply.

I never used to run CCleaner ,i ran it only after the problem occured hoping it will fix it.

I did a full system scan, Disk clean up and the restarted and the problem went away by itself.

But anyway thanks for putting your effort for helping me.:thumbsup2:

My Life is sane once again .
 
Glad to hear.

Disk clean up likely fixed it, as your jump lists probably needed to be cleared and rebuilt. It's strange that CCleaner didn't do the same, but, at least it's fixed!
