Hi, greetings...

Having my old fashioned win7 machine running ok, with no SFC issues or so, the only thing causing me itches is that i can´t run the memory diagnostic tool, every time it reboots to perform the diagnose, the screen wents blank with no information, disk light on and working(???), fan also spinnning, instead of that good old fashioned msDOS blue screen mode with the performing evaluation.

As everything is going well, I do not care (if it works, do not touch as rule number one), just a matter of curiosity what may be the "Problem (???)". issue (???), whatsoever.

Thanks in advanced!

Are you running it from the control panel or the command line? Also, what happens if you try to run it in Safe Mode?
I´ve tried to run in all the ways you´ve mentioned...control p, cmd, safe mode...absoluting nothing happens!

Ok, I'm going to move it to the Windows Update section as it looks to me there might be some missing stuff in the Components Hive.

There you will find properly trained experts on this issue.

I recommend that you first test your memory with Memtest86+ but you should always test a second time with a different memory testing tool just to be sure. Windows Memory Diagnostic should be that second tool.

Thanks for your reply FreeBooter, as I mentioned the system is operational, no errors, no nothing, everything’s working fine only the windows memory diagnostic tool is failing and I just want to wonder why?
