[SOLVED] Issues Installing Windows Updates / Errors with SFC and DISM Repairs

I am needing to update windows as there are new updates / patches.

Patches just error when installing.

SFC Errors

DISM Errors

Saw notes about kb4541329

Tried DISM after pointing at update mentioned

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth /LimitAccess /Source:C:\temp\kb4541329_msu\update

Hi and welcome to Sysnative,

Step 1. Download

SFCFix and save it to your desktop.

Warning: This fix was written specifically for this system. Do not run this fix on another system.

• Save any work you have open, and close all programs.
• Download the attachment SFCFix.zip and save it to your desktop.
• Drag the SFCFix.zip file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.

• SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
• Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
• Post the logfile (SFCFix.txt) as attachment in your next reply.

Step 2. Run the following DISM command and post the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log.

DISM /online /cleanup-image /RestoreHealth

Great, please attempt to update. This server has not received any updates since March 2020 so this server is running a very out-dated build.

If the update fails attach a new copy of the CBS logs.

It is downloading 2024-08 Cumulative Update for Windows Server 2016 for x64-based Systems (KB5041773) now. I'll update the post once it completes
