[SOLVED] Issues Installing 2018-10 Cumulative Updates for Windows 10 (KB4462919)

In the process of installing Windows Updates on an 1803 set up forever ago.

Attempted to install various updates from Windows Updates and directly and the system always restores to before.
The codes of updates that have failed recently:
KB4100347 (2)
KB4462933 (2)
KB4462919 (19)
KB4464218 (18)
KB4457128 (4)

Step 1.
> Check.
Step 2.
> Windows Resource protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.
Step 3.
> Told to skip.
Step 4.
-> Opens and begins to run but just closes without any messages or opening any log files.
Step 5.

SFCFix Script

Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop.
2. Download the file below, SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.
3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip.
5. Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
6. SFCFix will now process the script.
7. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
8. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please - put
   tags around the log to break up the text.

SFC Scan

1. Click on the Start button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
2. When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator
3. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following commands into it, press enter after each
   
   sfc /scannow
   
   Wait for this to finish before you continue
   
   copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log %userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt
4. This will create a file, cbs.txt on your Desktop. Please attach this to your next post.

Ran it again and it confirmed everything as verified but I tried to install the updates and the two that Windows Update queued, KB4100347 and KB4462933, both failed.

Can you please temporarily uninstall your Antivirus software and retry updates? If using Windows Defender, disabling it should suffice.

This error usually means that you have relocated one of your critical folders...possibly to free up space or possibly to try and isolate the OS on it's own volume.

Did you perhaps move your program files folder to a different drive than it was on before?

So, I have a program by O&O called "Shutup 10" that disables a bunch of Windows telemetry stuff and whatnot. I realized I probably disabled some parts of Internet Explorer through here and by reverting to system settings I got KB4100347 to install but KB4462933 is still failing to install. It's both. I successfully installed one and then attempted install of the failed one about 3 times and then ran the SFC scan. That result is above!

3. Run SFC scan and grab log

If my understanding is correct, this should be the log you're asking for. I did not realize the SFC scan discarded the other log data!

Thank you. It appears that you changed the destination of your critical folders which is giving you problems now.

Did you migrate anything from one drive to another at some point?

From my understanding, no I did not. I'm pretty tech savy so I'd be happy to look through the trouble folders if you could be so kind to point me in the right direction!
