I'm facing trouble in Windows 10 x64 KB4495667 update installation. After the restart, Windows stops the update and displays the message dialog: "We couldn't complete the updates; Undoing changes; Don't turn off your computer."

I also tried to download the update as a standalone installer but the issue persists. The error code seen in update history is 0x80070003.

SFC Fix found no errors. Sfc scannow also found no problems.

I'm attaching my CBS log files.

Kindly help in resolving this issue.

Thanks.

Hi!

SFCFix Script

Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

 1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop.
 2. Download the file below, SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.
 3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
 4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip.
 5. Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
 6. SFCFix will now process the script.
 7. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
 8. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please - put

tags around the log to break up the text.

Retry updates and attach setupapi.dev.log if any fail.

I should have written, "Thanks a lot. The update works fine now.". Well , what are the reasons for such missing entries? Any viruses or driver updates mess up with those entries?

Okay, I had to force shutdown my laptop when it got frozen for more than 15-16 minutes. Maybe that caused some issue. This windows update wasn't installing when that NVIDIA and Intel drivers weren't installing as well (solved by you in different post of mine).
