Hi,

I recently found out about this and it bothers me since. First time i figured out i had problem with DPC latency was when i bought Diablo after upgrading to 980. First i thought its D3 issue but after research came to conclusion its my pc.

First off i tried my best with research and tried to fix crackling sound in my speakers/headphones and stuttering in D3 with no luck. Then i reinstaled my Win 7 and it fixed the crackling but game performance issues persist.

I ofcourse updated my MSI z77a-gd55 MOBO drivers through MSI live update 6. replugged GPU card, Turned on HPET in Win (bios on from the start), updated windows, updated my external creative sound blaster x-fi surround 5.1 pro sound card drivers, turned off MOBO sound card, moved my keyboard, mouse and soundcard to USB 2.0 ports, unplugged/disabled my old DVD rom as latency MON was showing problem with ATAPORT.SYS.
Since i was tinkering in my bios/pc case/drivers for past couple of hours/days game performance increased from stuttering all around to decent 60 fps with small stuttering from time to time and sometimes huge FPS drops to almost freezing both super anoyying.

Latency mon shows USBPORT.SYS, dxgkernl.sys, rspLLL64.sys, nlvddmkm.sys depending on a situation. What i found out though is that before OS reinstall and tinkering latencymon was going crazy red whenever i was running a game. Right now Latencymon is usually not showing problems as long as i run only game. If i start chrome with tabs soundcloud.com, twitch.tv, youtube which i have all the time because multimonitor after few miniutes of running latency mon goes black and then red.

Maybe im crazy but i think that streams/videos over internet arent as fluid as they was before even though there is no major stutter or sound disapearing/crackling.

Latency mon shows USBPORT.SYS, dxgkernl.sys, rspLLL64.sys, nlvddmkm.sys depending on a situation.
For info, the drivers you mentioned:
usbport.sys - Microsoft Windows USB related driver - http://www.sysnative.com/drivers/driver.php?id=USBPORT.SYS
dxgkrnl.sys - Microsoft Windows DirectX Graphics Kernel - http://www.sysnative.com/drivers/driver.php?id=dxgkrnl.sys
rspLLL64.sys - is part of LatencyMon itself - http://www.carrona.org/drivers/driver.php?id=rspLLL64.sys
nvlddmkm.sys - NVIDIA Video - http://www.sysnative.com/drivers/driver.php?id=nvlddmkm.sys

Often, latency issues are traced to installed anti-virus programs, especially if a 3rd party firewall is included like in the many Internet Security Suites.

If you have such installed, I would suggest removing it and see if overall system performance improves.

Use the appropriate removal tool, if applicable - Antivirus Uninstallers

Also, make sure that BIOS is up to date.

Thank you for reply jcgriff2 i installed all updates from windows update. Updated BIOS to the latest also i use latest nvidia drivers. I tried few times reversing or older ones but none make anything better. As for Antivirus i don't use any at the moment. I tried cleaning my PC with ADWcleaner and malwarebytes but they didnt find anything.
