Hi. . .

Yes, the app is completely safe. It collects mini kernel dump files, WERCON info; runs Windows executables, including WMI, driver query, eventvwr, systeminfo, msinfo32, dxdiag, tasklist, etc... & SysInternals AutoRuns. The app has been run by >>100,000s users since 2008.

Please zip up the entire Windows7_Vista_jcgriff2 folder + PERFMON HTML file and upload to SkyDrive.

The only concern is that minidumps and some other information can pose a security risk, albeit a slight one. They will most likely not - nor are they designed to - directly expose security information such as passwords n such. But other information can be used to assist in compromising a system's security, containing general information such as usernames of active sessions, the computer's name, and the domain it's located in. Use discretion when uploading information publicly about a computer in a production environment. It'd be advised to consult internal IT of the company before resorting to a public tech support forum. Otherwise, the material contained in a JCGriff Report is practically harmless, and most people aside from those in high security areas with strict security policies should not worry about posting them publicly.
