Hi all!
Recently I've tried to install a VL805 USB card powered by molex. It was a working card since forever in a customer of mine's pc.
There must have been some issue because the card was causing CSGO match search to drop out my WiFi pcie card, and likely would cause issues on boot; I was getting Kernel Security Check Failures just before my SSD was corrupted on the boot side (in Windows, not in BCD) to where it throws IO1 INITIALIZATION FAILED.
This and a Critical Process Died error have been both the banes of my existence, one brought on by an ASUS BCLK bug on B550 wildly going out of spec for my raid 1 array, the next caused by a USB card (maybe?) Dropping out my IO or PCH 0.82 voltage on alder lake intel 12900kf.
My system specs are impressive on paper but in practice the PSU is an ex mining HX1200 Corsair 2021(?) edition and a B660M Mortar Max.
It's not a huge loss if I can't recover this ghost spectre modded windows, though it would take days to crawl through all my data, installs, program files, and the entire user folder.
I have plenty of experience with windbg and intuitive solutions to BSODs, but this IO1 BSOD (cloned to a new drive is the same issue) truly stumps me.
Any help would be mad appreciated!
My 1TB NVME has a still functioning dual boot sister partition for default windows 10, and has working command prompt that could be used to DISM my main Spectre windows install.
Thanks for the help
