Hi -

I would recommend removing Norton for now.

Use Norton Removal Tool - Uninstallers (removal tools) for common antivirus software - ESET Knowledgebase

Reboot upon completion. Install Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE)

Run chkdsk /r
