IE 9 is installed and works ok, we would prefer to use IE10 though, seems to be faster and runs generally better. It currently effects about 5 machines on our site, all with the 9C59 error during install. In some instances it shows IE9 as if it where IE10 as in About shows IE9 but the actual layout of the window is that of IE10 I have attached a CBS log from one of the machines that I am unable to install IE10 on: Any help is appreciated Regards F Attachments CBS.rar 351.5 KB · Views: 2

Then ran the offline IE10 installer. It took some time but I was eventually able to install and update IE10. Thought this may be useful for others. I'm going to try on the other machines when I get time to. Regards, F

As per my previous post I have ran it on another 2 machines out of the 5-odd I have the problem on. All have worked fine following above guide eg: Code: pkgmgr /UP:pkgmgr /up:Microsoft-Windows-InternetExplorer-Package-TopLevel~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~8.0.7601.17514 I ran that for ALL toplevel Internet Explorer results from the C:\windows\servicing\packages Started with oldest first then rebooted then ran against next oldest and so forth. Ran it against the semi-installed IE10 as well Then ran offline installer (online may work I dunno, just this is quicker) Rebooted and now IE10 installed perfectly :)
