I have scoured the forums and the internet high and low and have tried all kinds of things but the updates are still failing to install. I ran the sfc /scnnow and that came back clear but it did fail on the DISM command. It appears the component tracker didn't find anything. Not real sure where else to go or look.
I can't get Windows server 2019 to install it's updates

I found these commands on a Microsoft forum the other day and I tried to run them it didn't seem to do anything thing and I still get the same 0x800f0983 error when trying to install any windows updates:
net stop wuauserv
net stop cryptsvc
net stop bits
net stop msiserver
ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old
ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 Catroot2.old

Step 2. Run the following DISM command and post the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log.
