Hello,

Recently over the last couple of weeks i noticed my PC has been crashing. It kept saying i needed to restart my PC to repair disk errors! Every time i restarted the PC the computer wouldn't update properly, nor did it repair properly!
I am completely out of ideas, and would really appreciate some assistance if possible?

I have tried multiple solutions from other people suggesting to, run CMD in administration mode and type the following commands below! These are the responses i am receiving from each command:

  • SFC /SCANNOW
Verification 10% complete.

Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation.

  • Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Error 4448, The WOF driver encountered a corruption in the compressed file's resource table
The DISM log file can be found at C:\WINDOWS\Logs\DISM\dism.log

  • sc config trustedinstaller start= demand
C:\WINDOWS\system32>sc config trustedinstaller start= demand
[SC] ChangeServiceConfig SUCCESS

  • net start trustedinstaller
C:\WINDOWS\system32>net start trustedinstaller
The Windows Modules Installer service is starting.
The Windows Modules Installer service was started successfully.

  • Windows + R - services.msc
Windows Modules Installer Properties window, set Startup type as Manual, then click Apply and OK to confirm this change. (done this)

  • SFCFix
I downloaded the software from niemiro / Sysnative Forums Software Ltd, and ran the SFCFix. The software keeps crashing mid process and then sends the following report to the servers:

SFCFix version 3.0.2.1 by niemiro.
Start time: 2021-04-03 12:21:33.919
Microsoft Windows 10 Build 19042 - amd64
Not using a script file.

SFCFix version 3.0.2.1 by niemiro has encountered an unhandled exception.
Currently storing 0 datablocks.
Finish time: 2021-04-03 12:21:39.421

  • Chkdsk /r
I have also ran the following command in CMD in administrator.
