Hi all,
I'd love some assistance. I've spent days on this and just found this forum and it's given me some hope.
I can get to a Command prompt only from BSOD when trying to Boot Windows 10 64Bit from a Samsung SSD drive.
BSOD happenned suddenly a few days ago and I don't know why.
No other Windows Repair options work from the Bluescreen options and no safe mode.
Last resort seems to be a reset or re-install but hopefully you can help me.
Startup Repair diagnosis and repair log =
Root cause found:
---------------------------
Boot critical file e:\boot\resources\custom\bootres.dll is corrupt.
I have used another boot drive that has Windows 7 on it in the same computer and can access to the Problem Windows 10 drive and it's files through Win7.
Can I use the 'Sysnative BSOD Dump + System File Collection App' from the Windows 7 installation for the Windows 10 disk which is e: drive?
Or should I try to boot that Windows 10 drive and then get to the command prompt from the BSOD and try to run 'Sysnative BSOD Dump + System File Collection App'?
Or whatever you may sugggest.
Thanks!!!
