Woww it looked much better....

Hi,
My CBS managed to go up without a problem.
Thanks,
George

It happened again!
Originally I was chasing a Blue screen 0x00000609. Would usually come up when waking up from sleep, (or just sleeping?).
Therefor I got suspicious of Kernel-Power error 41, and sure enough I had one this time as well, the only one marked critical.
The properties says:
The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.
What I did I disabled the quick startup/shutdown as somebody suggested on the Net. Apparently that did not solve the issue.
George

Hi George,

Your latest CBS.log looks good.

I suggest heading over to the BSOD, Crashes, Kernel Debugging section to receive assistance with your blue screens. Ensure you read the posting instructions prior to posting.

Best of luck. :dsmile:
Thank you. I greatly appreciated your help and it got rid of 5 ownership conflicts. Not that I can see a difference but I sleep better knowing it... Keep it up, thx, George

You're welcome, George. :dsmile:

FYI - two of the files referenced in your first post were incorrectly reported as corrupt; so we only repaired 3, not 5.

I will mark this topic as solved. Good luck resolving your other issues with the machine.

Hi Liquid, the Tention is on me.

I am wondering if this is normal, but all I have done since, was trying to send files to the BSOD folks, and then tonight I followed a Utube how to fix the f. Skype. (On shutdown it cannot load the referenced memory) In the past years - sometimes by disabling sign-off sound or by whatever trick I used to be able to overcome this error that occurred from time to rime with a Skype update. This times it is resisting my own knowledge-base, so I did a clean install. (Including wiping AppData). Ran a scannow as per YouTube. That again had errors it could not repair. So I looked in the CBS.log and it has a few new corruption, if you look backwards from the end of it. Not that I wanted to insult you, but I just finished, so it starts now... Since last time you got off easy with that 2 bogus error you did not have to repair, maybe I could make up for that with these new editions.
Appreciatively,
George

Hi George,

I am more than happy to take a look. However, as you still have an on-going topic in the BSOD section, it is best we wait for the work in that section to be concluded. Working on the same machine in two different places is not good practice, and can cause additional problems.

Let me know once you've finished in the BSOD section, and we can proceed here. :dsmile:
