High CPU and Latency causing severe glitch/cracking/popping sounds

So the title puts it bluntly. This was a computer I bought off a friend for $300. Not a bad price considering the hardware that was in it. Only until recently I noticed something odd. With a little research, I found that for what ever reason, my CPU is smacking 100% quite often, and is generally caused by simply opening things like YouTube. As shown in the picture below, when opening YouTube, my Latency goes SKY high...

Plenty of fans including a massive side fan, two exhaust fans, and one on the back.

I haven't honestly made a effort in fixing the front panel jack. (It didn't work when I got it.)

When I'm playing games, I don't really notice any power issues. The computer surfs around relatively smoothly, so I'm not sure why I would have so much latency.


Plenty of fans including a massive side fan, two exhaust fans, and one on the back. I have nearly half of my SSD free (I have some clutter to free up.) so there shouldn't be an issue there. My biggest consumers seem to be a mix between Google chrome and Service Host: Network Service (4). They have easily pushed my CPU to 100% several times. I've completely defragged both my SSD using SSD Optimization, and my HDD. I've also checked the Sectors of both storage devices.

All drivers are updated with the latest version.

Internet can be slow at times, so I downloaded a file individually and noticed it still did this...



I have realtek, razor, and nividia also trying to fight for control of the audio ports it seems... lol.

Please help me, I'm not sure what to do by this point.

1. Install the Windows Performance Toolkit and Media Experience Analyzer from the Windows ADK first:
Windows ADK downloads - Windows Hardware Dev Center

2. Open the Windows Performance Recorder GUI (start > WPRUI)

3. Click "Add Profiles"

4. Browse to the Media eXperience Analyzer installation path (by default, \Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\Media eXperience Analyzer\ and select "multimedia_wprp.wprp"

5. This will add a "Custom measurements" section to WPRUI, with a selection called "WindowsXRay FULL_TH Power Performance" checked

6. *** UNCHECK "First level triage" ****

7. Click the "Start" button, and reproduce the issue

8. Click the "Save" button when you have some data collected, and save the file

9. Open Media eXperience Analyzer

10. Select "Open File" and open the file saved in step 8

11. Be patient - loading the file can take a few minutes depending on size - you won't have any indication it's parsing other than the "Running <parser>" line(s) that show up

12. You can start by looking under "Media" for audio or video glitches if any were found - you can see more about this (the video is a little old but still relevant) here:

You can also look around under CPU to see other info on DPC/ISRs as well.

I am not able to load Multimedia_WPRP.wprp profile to my WPR. It is throwing error "Every user-defined profile file should contain profile definitions for both the logging modes (File and Memory).". Please let me know what I am missing. And also share your profile for multimedia working one if possilble.
